Laurel Myers Hurst

Beloved mental health nurse practitioner and music professor, Laurel lives to show driven women how to retune their nervous systems by addressing the unmet needs in their bodies and relationships without drudgery or perfectionism.

I believe you can flourish as a woman by fully embracing your desires. If you know you have unfinished emotional business and you just can't lighten up, you need a playful and transformative way to remake your nervous system. That's where I can help.

After almost 20 years of embodying the practice of groove-based music making, primitive reflex integration, and anti-inflammatory strategies, I feel better at age 55 than I did in my 20s, and I can show you how it works.

My spouse and I are enjoying more than thirty years of marriage with our five adult children and our grandbabies. We are a military family and huge fans of live music, museums, and National Parks.

The Brain Health Hook-up acquaints listeners with these alternatives so you can discuss them with your provider.
